A BIG THANKS TO THE LANDLORD & LETTINGS SHOW

Last week we were fortunate enough to exhibit at the Edinburgh Landlord and Letting show held at the Royal Highland Centre and had a great time meeting and talking to everyone there.

Over 400 people from all over Scotland turned up over the course of the two days and we grabbed the opportunity to chat with landlords and homeowners about the services we offer and give advice on a range of issues affecting the private rented market.

These events tend to invite a more relaxed environment which makes it easier and more enjoyable to form relationships, learn about what’s going on in different areas, showcase the range of services we offer and potentially win new business.

We were particularly looking forward to making the most of the opportunity to talk properly about Letfirst, a lettings model that guarantees rental income to landlords whilst waiving the traditional need for a tenant deposit. 

The Scottish economy is still faced with challenges and there is a need to adapt and respond within a changing housing market.  Letfirst offers one such approach which benefits both landlords and tenants. Letfirst has had a really positive reception since launching in Edinburgh in 2009 and our impending launch in Glasgow encouraged a lot of landlord interest during our time at the show.

But it wasn’t all trade talk.  We held a raffle to win some great prizes including a luxury spa day and bottle of fine malt whisky. Ten lucky landlords will also receive £200 cash back by letting their property through Letfirst.

A big thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and thank you to everyone who came to visit our stall and say hello. It was a fantastic event interesting, educational, engaging, rewarding and above all very enjoyable.
