The
Landlord and Letting Show arrives in Edinburgh this week and we’re really
looking forward to getting together with like minded individuals from within the
private rented sector both professionally and personally.
This year
we will be taking a stall and will be on hand over the two days to meet with
and talk to landlords about what we offer as well as give some friendly advice
on a range of issues affecting the private rented market. Events like these are a
great way for landlords who may already let properties, as well as those first
time landlordsto come along and find out all about the different options
available to them. Of course everyone
will be fighting for your attention, encouraging you to sign up to their
scheme, but our advice is to take your time and make sure you visit and speak
to as many companies as possible and then you will find the right solution for
you. Talking to landlords is
the bread and butter of what we do which is why we find these events so
appealing and it gives us an opportunity to talk properly about Letfirst.
For those not already familiar with Letfirst, it is a new lettings model which guarantees rental income to landlords whilst waiving the traditional need for a tenant deposit. Letfirst launched in Edinburgh just over three years ago and its success has led to expansion into the Lothians and the Scottish Borders with a new branch opening shortly in Glasgow. We will be talking about our approach to lettings in seminar sessions on Wednesday and Thursday and look forward to chatting more at our stall.
